FAQ
Frequently asked questions about YANA Academy
Common questions about programs, pricing, accreditation, and outcomes.
Who is YANA Academy for?
Healthcare and life-sciences professionals breaking into clinical research, CRCs advancing to CRA roles, and CR professionals seeking faster, structured job searches. We have placed nurses, pharmacists, lab techs, physicians, and career-changers with zero prior CR experience.
Do I need prior clinical research experience?
No. Break Into Clinical Research is designed for learners with no prior CR experience. Site-to-CRA Bridge requires CRC/site experience, and the 90-Day Job Search Accelerator is built for professionals with 2+ years in clinical research.
What makes YANA Academy different from other clinical research training?
Curriculum is IAOCR-accredited and taught by a Q-IAOCR Certified Trainer (#16167194) — a credential fewer than 1% of clinical research educators globally hold. Every program ties to measurable competency and includes managed placement support, not just a certificate.
How long does it take to land a role after completing the program?
Graduates average an offer in under 90 days. Documented case studies include 64 days (Pharmacist → Medical Writer), 62 days (Physician → Remote CRA at Barrow Neurological Institute), and 4 weeks (Pharmacist → Regulatory professional in Canada).
Are programs self-paced or live cohort-based?
Cohort-based with live instruction, mentorship, and peer learning. Modules are gated on ≥80% mastery so progress reflects real competency, not passive video completion.
Do you offer payment plans or scholarships?
Yes. Programs start from $2,997 with multi-month plans and scholarships available. Employer sponsorship and CRO/sponsor cohort funding are also supported.
What is the Site-to-CRA Bridge program?
A 6-week intensive that transitions Clinical Research Coordinators into Clinical Research Associates. It covers monitoring visits, source data verification, risk-based quality management (RBQM), and CRA-level GCP — with three flexible tiers, including managed placement.
Can my employer pay for the program?
Yes. We provide invoiceable enrollment, sponsor letters, and W-9s for employer reimbursement. CROs and sponsors can also license cohorts in-house or sponsor seats.
