Meet the founder
Rudy Mallé
I was born and raised in Cameroon, and that's where the global perspective I bring to this work first took shape. When I eventually made my way to the U.S., I started my clinical research career at a small research site in Queens, NY — learning the craft one protocol, one patient visit, one regulatory binder at a time.
From there, I moved onto the site side at world-class institutions — Weill Cornell Medicine, Northwell Health, and NewYork-Presbyterian — where I worked across oncology, diabetes, respiratory, cardiology, and rare diseases. Those years gave me a deep appreciation for how trials actually run at the patient level.
I then crossed over to the sponsor and CRO world, holding clinical operations and project management roles at Dendreon, ICON, and IQVIA. Over 15+ years, I've seen clinical research from nearly every angle — entry-level CRA work to senior leadership, site to sponsor, single study to global program.
Along the way I earned my Q-IAOCR certification from the International Association of Clinical Research Organizations — one of the few credentialed clinical research trainers delivering career-focused education globally — and became a Certified Professional Career Coach (CPCC) so I could pair industry expertise with a real coaching methodology.
I built YANA Careers because the structured, expert-guided path into this industry didn't exist when I was starting out. To date, we've helped 300+ professionals launch or advance their careers across pharma, biotech, CROs, and academic medical centers — and the 40,000+ professionals in my LinkedIn community continue to shape the work we do every day.

About the “IAOCR Accredited Trainer” designation
The International Accrediting Organization for Clinical Research (IAOCR) accredits individual trainers, not training providers or their courses. We want prospective learners and hiring partners to understand exactly what our use of the phrase “IAOCR Accredited Trainer” means — and what it does not.
What it means
- Rudy Malle personally holds a current Q-IAOCR (Internationally Qualified Clinical Research Trainer) accreditation — Trainer #16167194.
- The accreditation recognises his individual knowledge, teaching competence, and ongoing professional standards as a clinical research trainer.
- Every YANA Careers program is designed and delivered by Rudy, so learners are trained by an IAOCR Accredited Trainer.
What it does not imply
- YANA Careers, LLC is not itself an IAOCR-accredited organisation.
- No YANA Careers program, curriculum, course, or cohort is IAOCR-accredited, IAOCR-approved, or IAOCR-certified.
- The YANA Careers certificate of completion is issued by YANA Careers only — it is not an IAOCR certificate, credential, or licence.
- Completing a YANA Careers program does not confer any IAOCR accreditation on the learner.

Meet the team
Therese Nkengbejah
Therese is the operational backbone of YANA Careers. A registered nurse turned clinical research professional with 7+ years of experience, she brings a rare combination of clinical depth and operational precision to her role.
She oversees the day-to-day workflows that keep the academy running at the highest standard — from program delivery coordination and client onboarding to systems management and internal team logistics. She understands the career-switcher journey firsthand.
Umme Aymen
Aymen leads YANA's Job Search Division as our Reverse Recruitment Specialist and Job Applications Manager. With a background spanning talent acquisition, HR operations, and reverse recruitment, she brings a data-driven, results-oriented approach to every client engagement.
Her methodology is built on three pillars: a rigorous 95% ATS optimization process to ensure resumes pass automated filters, strategic LinkedIn outreach connecting clients with 50+ key recruiters and decision-makers weekly, and a track record of helping clients achieve 65–70% interview rates within the first month.
With 500+ successful campaigns managed across the US, UK, Canada, and Australia, Aymen works hands-on with JSA students to optimize applications, accelerate placement, and ensure every job search is strategic, efficient, and results-driven.
