Refund Policy

Last updated: July 1, 2026. Your signed enrollment agreement is the binding document and controls in case of any conflict.

1. Programs are electronic and non-refundable

As an electronic service, our program enrollment is strictly non-refundable. We limit enrollment to 20 candidates per cohort, and each payment secures a specific spot. When cohorts fill, we reject other qualified candidates because all available seats are taken.

Typically, we do not offer refunds; instead, candidate enrollment is pushed to a future cohort. You will be able to keep your spot and be admitted into any future cohort within 12 months of your original enrollment date.

Withdrawals do not warrant a refund. A refund of any percentage is granted only at the sole discretion of YANA Careers.

2. Withdrawing close to a cohort start date

When the program is about to start, we want to ensure your spot is filled rather than forfeited. If you notify us that you need to withdraw shortly before the cohort begins, here is how we can help:

  • Extended enrollment window. If enrollment for your cohort has already closed, we will re-open the window for a short extension to see if any previously rejected candidates are willing to take your spot.
  • Full refund (less administrative fees) if your spot is filled. If a new candidate takes your spot during the extended enrollment period, we will issue you a full refund minus administrative fees (payment processing, onboarding, and admissions costs already incurred), at the sole discretion of YANA Careers.
  • 50% refund if the spot cannot be filled. If the spot remains unfilled by the extended deadline, we are willing to offer a 50% refund, since the seat will be forfeited and we do not have adequate time to find a replacement before the program begins.

These accommodations are offered on a case-by-case basis and remain at the sole discretion of YANA Careers.

3. Deferrals to a future cohort

If you can't start or continue your program on schedule, you may request a deferral to a future cohort. Deferred seats must be used within 12 months of your original enrollment date. Installment payments continue on schedule during a deferral unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Email support@yanacareers.com to start a deferral request.

4. Consulting services

Our à la carte career services (Resume Build & Strategy, LinkedIn Profile Optimization, Mock Interview Intensive, and Career Strategy Session) come with a 14-day refund window from the date of purchase. The exact refund eligibility depends on the work completed:

  • Full refund. If no work has been started (e.g., no intake call, draft, session, or rewrite delivered), you may request a full refund within 14 days.
  • Partial refund. If the first deliverable or session has been completed but the engagement is not yet finished, a 50% refund may be offered at our sole discretion.
  • No refund. Once the final deliverable is delivered, the final session is held, or the service is otherwise complete, the engagement is non-refundable.

Service-specific refund terms are published on each service page. To request a refund, email support@yanacareers.com with your order confirmation. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

5. Application is always free

We never collect payment information until after your admissions call and only if you decide to enroll. There is no application fee and no deposit to hold a seat for the call.

6. Questions about your specific situation?

Email support@yanacareers.com and we'll walk through it on a call. See full legal terms in our Terms of Service.
